Gym Buddy doesn’t collect your data. There’s no account, no analytics, and no tracking. Your workouts stay on your device and in your own iCloud.
What Gym Buddy stores
The app stores the workouts you create and the sessions you log: plans, exercises, sets, reps, weights, and timestamps. That lives on your device. If you’re signed into iCloud, it also syncs to your private iCloud account so your data is on your other devices.
The developer can’t see any of it. CloudKit’s private database is tied to your Apple ID, and there’s no access to it from the outside.
No account, no sign-up
You don’t create an account or hand over an email, a name, or a password. There’s nothing to log into.
No analytics or tracking
Gym Buddy has no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking code. The app doesn’t send your activity anywhere.
Purchases
The Pro unlock is a one-time purchase handled by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; the developer never sees your card or payment details. Whether you’ve bought Pro is tracked by StoreKit against your Apple ID.
Notifications
Rest-timer alerts are scheduled locally on your device during a workout. They don’t involve a server that knows anything about you.
Deleting your data
Delete the app to remove its data from your device. To remove the synced copy, open iCloud settings on your device and manage or delete Gym Buddy’s iCloud data. Because the data lives in your private iCloud, you’re in control of it.
Children
Gym Buddy is rated 9+ and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, this page and the date at the top will be updated.
